I've been in the Ed Tech program for 2 years and have had a different experience in each class. In some classes, we met in an online chat room, sometimes through conference calls, and most often, through a discussion board, and now, blogs. The instructors in this program are readily available and have responded to my emails and phone calls within a few hours or a few days, which made them a lot more accessible than many of my instructors during the undergraduate days. If this program had not been available on-line, I would not have been able to pursue a masters at this time. The flexibility I have in this program is fantastic.

The Master of Education in Educational Technology at the University of Texas Brownsville is a great graduate level program. I have been challenged by the difficulty of the classes, but the work was well worth it in preparing for employment in a challenging field. The professors are all very knowledgeable and always reachable. Support help for technology problems is available 24/7. Course work and projects relate to real educational curriculum development and application. I checked with my school district before undertaking the program to make sure they will accept a degree from there as fully accredited, and they assured me that they do. The UTB-TSC requirements to get into the program are not easy, making sure students are up for the challenge.
